Data Deletion Request
Request deletion of your Social Dig account, personal information or saved connected-platform data without signing in.
1. Send your request
Email kapilraj94@gmail.com with the subject “Social Dig — Data Deletion Request”. Where possible, send it from the email address associated with your Social Dig account.
- Your Social Dig account email.
- The workspace or client name, if applicable.
- The connected platform, such as Meta or LinkedIn, and relevant account identifier if applicable.
- Whether you want to delete your account, personal information, saved platform data or specific workspace records you are authorised to manage.
Do not send passwords, access tokens or identity documents with your initial request.
Email deletion requestThe button opens a draft in your email app. Your request is sent only when you send that email.
2. Verification and review
Requests are handled manually. We may ask for information to verify your identity or authority over a client workspace. A user request does not authorise deletion of another client's shared records. We will respond by email with verification steps and the outcome, including any lawful limits on deletion.
We handle requests within the time required by applicable privacy law. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, the response period is generally one month after receipt, with a permitted extension for complex or multiple requests; we will notify you if an extension applies.
3. What deletion covers
Depending on your verified request, deletion may cover account/profile records, memberships, personal information in saved content, and platform account mappings or related data you are authorised to remove. Some audit, security or legal records may need to be retained. We will explain any exceptions. Backup copies may remain until they expire under the hosting provider's backup lifecycle.
4. Revoke platform access separately
For Meta, remove Social Dig from your connected-app or business integration settings. For LinkedIn, revoke access in your permitted services or connected-app settings. The exact settings names may change.
Revoking access is separate from deleting previously saved data. Deletion from Social Dig does not delete campaigns, ads or information held by Meta, LinkedIn or another platform, and does not stop advertising spend there. Manage active campaigns and platform-held data directly with the platform.
5. Confirmation and follow-up
We will confirm the outcome by email. For updates, reply to the same email thread. Read our Privacy Policy and Data Policy for more information.
